Assam Grade 4 Staff Age Limit
Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the Assam Grade 4 Staff Recruitment 2023 online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation/ Higher Examination Certificate will be accepted by the State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB Assam) for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted.
- For the posts of Assam Commando Battalions Age Limit : 18-25 Years
- For the posts of Assam Police, DGCD & CHGH AND F & ES Age Limit : 18-40 Years

Additional Age Relaxation as per Rules. Upper age limit will be relaxed for:

Assam Grade 4 Staff Eligibility Criteria
Multitasking & Maintenance Staff- I (Technical) – Electrician, Plumber, Carpenter, Mason, Tailor
- Minimum Class VIII passed and maximum qualification HSSLC or Class XII passed from recognized Board / Council.
- Two year certificate course from a recognized ITI / Vocational Institute.
Multitasking & Maintenance Staff- II (Non- Technical) – Cook, Water Carrier, Dhobi, Barber, Gardener, Painter, Safai Karmachari, Cobbler
- Minimum Class VIII passed and maximum qualification HSSLC or Class XII passed from recognized Board / Council.

Assam Grade 4 Staff Selection Process
Candidates whose Assam Grade 4 Staff applications are found correct in all respect will have to undergo the Physical Standards Tests (PST) and Trade Proficiency Test (TPT).
Assam Grade IV Staff Preliminary Document Verification
The candidate reporting at the venue on the date and time for Assam Grade 4 Staff Physical Standard Test and Trade Proficiency Test (TPT), he/she must bring all the documents uploaded during submission of Assam Grade IV Staff online application along with one set of self attested photocopies of the same for verification by the Selection Committee on the date of their PST & TPT.
Assam Grade IV Staff PST, Preliminary Medical Check-up and TPT
After the documents are found correct, the candidates will have to appear in the Assam Grade 4 Staff Physical Standard Test (PST). It will carry no marks. Measurement of the height, weight & chest of the candidates and after which the candidate will be examined by a Medical Officer for preliminary check-ups like knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, vision test, colour blindness test, physical deformities etc. Once a candidate clears the PST, he/she will have to appear in the next Trade Efficiency Test in their respective trade.
